Site Audit and AI-readiness
Find out how well AI engines can read, understand and cite every page on your site — and get the fixes ranked by the difference they'll make.
Eight things AI engines look for
Ziply grades each page, and your site as a whole, on the eight areas that decide whether an AI engine can use it.
- 01
Answer-first structure
Does the page answer the question up front?
- 02
Citability
Are claims sourced, and is the author named and credible?
- 03
Entity clarity
Is it clear what and who the page is about?
- 04
Structured data
Does the page's markup describe it accurately?
- 05
Internal links
Is the page connected to the rest of its topic?
- 06
AI crawlability
Do AI crawlers receive the full page, or an empty shell?
- 07
Freshness
Is the page dated, and current for its type?
- 08
Governance
Are duplicates, redirects and indexing under control across the site?
Fix the pattern, not every page
Ziply groups repeating problems into patterns — the same issue across many pages, usually with one cause — and ranks them by impact, so one template fix can clear an issue everywhere it appears. Serious problems on a single page are flagged too.
Fixes you can apply
Every finding comes with what to change. Where the fix is mechanical — a canonical tag, a redirect, an indexing directive, a sitemap entry or structured data — Ziply generates it for you to apply.
See what AI crawlers receive
Many pages look complete in a browser but arrive nearly empty to AI crawlers that don't run JavaScript. Others are blocked by a robots rule no one meant to apply to AI assistants. The audit checks what crawlers actually receive and flags the pages they can't read. To see which AI crawlers visit and how often, add AI Crawler Analytics, included from Core.
Know what a fix is worth before you make it
Choose the fixes you're considering and Ziply shows the grade they would produce — as a range, with its assumptions stated. It's a projection, never a promise.

Track progress honestly
Every audit is kept, so you can watch your grade move over time. When Ziply's own checks change, the chart marks it, so a change in how pages are graded never looks like a change in your site.
Check as you write
The same rules score drafts in Ziply's editor and check the exported page before you publish, so a page that passes as you write passes when it's audited.

Frequently asked questions
What does the Site Audit check?
Eight areas: answer-first structure, citability, entity clarity, structured data, internal links, AI crawlability, freshness and governance — graded for each page and for your site as a whole.
Is there a free option?
Yes. The free plan audits one site, up to 50 pages, every month, with a summary report, and shows how AI engines answer your category, with no card required.
Can I audit more than one site?
Every package includes one site. On any paid package you can add more at $45 per site per month. Extra sites are audit only.
How is this different from an SEO audit?
An SEO audit checks what helps a page rank in search results. Ziply's audit checks what helps AI engines read, extract and cite a page — whether the answer comes first, whether claims carry sources, and whether AI crawlers receive the full page. Many fixes help both.
Does the audit change my site?
No. It reads your pages. Where a fix can be generated, Ziply gives it to you to apply.
Are projected grades guaranteed?
No. A projection is a range with its assumptions stated, not a promise.
